WHAT IS TUMANGO?
Tumango Latino Speed Dating and Social Events of Los Angeles, was established in 2000 by a group of Latino students who shared a common vision, a vision to educated and bring awareness to the Latino community via Social Events. In 2000 Tumango held its first social awareness event at UCLA, CSUN and major junior colleges expressing the need for a social outlet for Latinos with high expectations and ambitions. Tumango is located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley and growing via word of mouth, radio, publications and Internet moreover holding strong traditions while hosting cultural diversity within the community. Tumango constantly attracts and welcomes individuals, families, students, professionals, and others of all backgrounds to its highly sought after Social Events.

MISSION OF TUMANGO
Tumango provides a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between Latinos and non-Latinos of the community and among people of diverse culture, background, sexes and ages with its worldly Social Events.

Our goals are to:
• Promote exposure and appreciation of Latino culture in Los Angeles via social awareness and social events.
• Stimulate conversation and increase attendance among peoples of diverse cultures.
• To hold social events and bring together the best via education, enlightenment, enrichment, arts, theater, and daily life exposures.
• Provide access to community events either via Tumango’s social events or other Latino enriched events.
• Stimulate cultural diversity in the region and the support social awareness.

VISION
Tumango’s vision is to become the foremost international Latino network for Social Events in the United States and to advance Los Angeles’ prominence within the global and local Latino community. Therefore, participating in Tumango’s Social Events will be a priority for distinguished Latino professionals who share common goals, ambitions, and desires. To socialize, educate and enlighten in a positive and fruitful environment and to bring cultural divorcement and attraction to the Latino community of Los Angeles.

Tumango Speed Dating events are held at safe, fun and quality venues located in the Pasadena, San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas of Encino, Tarzana, Northridge, Reseda, Simi Valley, Santa Clarita, Montrose, Glendale and Woodland Hills. Each event is organized to enable you to meet several single Latino professionals of the opposite sex in a classy environment without the hassles associated with blind dates.
